Author Guidelines

Everything you need to prepare and submit your manuscript to any GIR-Press journal. Follow these guidelines carefully to ensure smooth processing of your submission.

Submission Process

From manuscript preparation to online publication in six clear steps.

Prepare Your Manuscript

Format your manuscript according to GIR-Press template. Ensure all sections, references, and ethical declarations are complete.

Check Submission Requirements

Verify the manuscript against our checklist: word count, figure resolution, reference style, and author details.

Submit Online

Upload your manuscript via email to the journal's editorial office. Include a cover letter and all supplementary materials.

Peer Review

Your manuscript undergoes double-blind peer review. Expect a first decision within 4–8 weeks of submission.

Revision (if required)

Respond to reviewer comments thoroughly. Minor revisions: 2 weeks. Major revisions: 4 weeks.

Publication

Accepted articles are published online within 2–4 weeks of final acceptance with a CrossRef DOI assigned.

Manuscript Structure

Title Page: Full article title (max 20 words), all authors' names, institutional affiliations, corresponding author email, ORCID iDs, and word count.
Abstract: Structured abstract with sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions. Do not include citations or unexplained abbreviations.
Keywords: 5–8 keywords separated by semicolons. Use terms from the MeSH, IEEE Thesaurus, or relevant controlled vocabulary where applicable.
Introduction: Background, literature context, research gap, and clear statement of the study's objectives and contribution.
Methods / Methodology: Sufficient detail for replication. Include ethical approval statements, data availability, and statistical methods used.
Results: Present findings objectively without interpretation. Use tables and figures to summarise data where appropriate.
Discussion: Interpret results in the context of existing literature. Acknowledge limitations. Avoid repetition of Results.
Conclusion: Concise summary of findings and their implications. Do not introduce new data or arguments.
Acknowledgements: Funding sources, technical assistance, and contributions that do not meet authorship criteria.
Conflict of Interest Declaration: All authors must declare any financial or personal relationships that could influence the work. If none, state: 'The authors declare no conflict of interest.'
References: Use IEEE or APA style consistently. Minimum 80% of references should be from the last 10 years for research articles.

  • All authors have approved submission

Article Processing Charges

APCs are charged upon acceptance only. No fees at submission stage. Waivers available for authors from LDCs.
